Before and After School Program
Our before and after school program provides a creative and unique resource for youth K-7. We provideengaging learning oppurtunities as we address issues and topics of interest.

Our goal is to provide practical solutions for working families. Our program is an additional alternative for safe care, while also improving attendance, behavior and coursework during the "out of school time" hours. Hours: 7am-9am and 3pm-6pm Monday through Friday. Services include supervision, homework assistance, play time and snacks. Transportation is provided by Chesterfield County Transportation. The program is structured to create a caring and fostering environment that will help children grow as they spend time playing and learning important life lessons as well as enhancing social skills with group interaction.

Tuition: $30 per week (Same Cost for 1 or both) ACE Tutoring
ACE Tutoring (Active Community for Education) ACE focuses on adolescents and teenagers up to their senior year of high school. An individualized plan is created based on the student's skill gap,goals, grades and study habits. Emphasis is placed on specific areas that requires the most improvement. Workshops, seminars and additional training are provided regularly for specific test preparations such as SOL's, ACT's and SAT's. Tutoring in math, reading and writing are available daily. CHVB provides tutoring services to students who require or request additional support with homework and classwork. Our program is intended to help students build necessary skills, complete key assignments, and receive additional monitoring and support.We provide assistance specific subject areas (math, reading) or with general study skills such as homework management, organization, and test preparation. Students are assessed and then matched with Tutors that are trained in the specific area of need. In addition to matching tutors with students the Tutor Program also provides: A safe space to study without the stigma of “special needs” Healthy snacks to help students focus A welcoming atmosphere with academic and emotional support Phoenix Summer Enrichment ProgramCHVB places great
emphasis on providing a variety of recreational and enrichment
activities to ensure a balanced, happy and productive Summer Session. Off-campus trips to museums, movies,
concerts, amusement parks, and sporting events occur each week. Considerable
effort is made to cultivate students' interests and to expose them to new
experience s. Sesions begain 1 week after school closing, and continue for 10 weeks. Tuition per week: $100 |
